This project transforms a compact 1000 sq.ft. open plot—directly connected to the client’s residence—into a functional kitchen garden blended with an intimate leisure deck. The client envisioned a space where they could grow their own vegetables while also having a peaceful outdoor corner to unwind with family. Responding to Bhopal’s climate, especially its pleasant monsoon season, the design integrates a modern pergola with a wooden deck, creating a cozy outdoor retreat that becomes the highlight of the home during rains. The surrounding plantation adds privacy, enhances the microclimate, and brings lushness into the space, making it feel like a natural extension of the residence.The result is a harmonious balance of utility, comfort, and green aesthetics, transforming a small site into a refreshing everyday escape.
